BizHive UK allows users to leave reviews to help others make informed decisions. To maintain fairness, trust, and quality, all users must follow the guidelines below.

By submitting a review, you agree to these rules.

Who Can Leave a Review?

You may submit a review only if:

  • You have had a genuine experience with the business.
  • You are not connected to the business (e.g., owner, employee, family member, paid promoter).
  • You are posting honest and unbiased feedback.

Fake, incentivised, or manipulated reviews are strictly prohibited.

What Your Review Must Contain

A valid review should be:

  • Accurate – based on real events or experiences.
  • Constructive – aim to help others understand what happened.
  • Relevant – related directly to the business and your experience with them.

Clear, factual, and specific feedback is encouraged.

What You Must Not Include

You must not post reviews that contain:

Illegal or harmful content

  • Defamation or false accusations
  • Hate speech, threats, or harassment
  • Discriminatory remarks
  • Personal attacks
  • Any content prohibited by UK law

Personal or sensitive information

  • Full names of staff (unless already public-facing)
  • Phone numbers, home addresses, emails
  • Private financial information

Promotional or biased content

  • Reviews posted by the business owner or staff
  • Reviews written in exchange for rewards or discounts
  • Reviews written to intentionally damage a competitor

Irrelevant content

  • Discussion unrelated to the business
  • Complaints about issues not caused by the business
  • Political or religious commentary

Photos and Media

If you upload images:

  • They must relate directly to your experience.
  • They must not include identifiable individuals without consent.
  • They must not contain copyrighted or watermarked images you do not own.
  • They must not include graphic, offensive, or inappropriate content.

We may remove images that violate these rules.

Editing or Removing Reviews

You may edit or delete your own review at any time if:

  • The situation with the business has changed.
  • You want to correct or update your feedback.
  • You notice inaccuracies and want to fix them.

We reserve the right to edit or remove reviews that violate our policies.

Business Responses

Businesses may publicly reply to reviews. Their responses must also follow our Acceptable Use Policy.

We do not allow:

  • Retaliation
  • Harassment
  • Disclosure of customer personal data
  • Attempting to intimidate or silence reviewers

Businesses may report unfair or fraudulent reviews for investigation.

How We Moderate Reviews

To protect the integrity of the platform, we may:

  • Remove reviews that violate these guidelines
  • Remove duplicate or suspicious reviews
  • Request proof of your experience (e.g., receipt, communication)
  • Suspend or block accounts posting fake or abusive reviews

Moderation decisions are final.
